This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it is handled, and your privacy rights when using the Chatbox mobile application (Package ID: zarvonis.editor.app) and related website services.

2. Our Core Principle: On-Device Processing

Chatbox is engineered with a strict privacy-first architecture:

  • Zero Server Message Storage: Your personal conversations, mirrored web chats, deleted messages recovered locally, and saved statuses are stored solely on your local device.
  • No Cloud Interception: We do not operate proxy servers that read, intercept, or analyze the content of your communications.
  • No Selling of Data: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

3. Information We Collect and Receive

We may collect minimal technical information to maintain app performance, verify subscriptions, and debug crashes:

  • Device & Diagnostics Data: Device model, operating system version, anonymous install identifiers, and crash logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics for service reliability.
  • Subscription & Purchase Information: Order IDs and token receipts processed through Google Play In-App Billing to unlock VIP entitlements. We do not process or store raw credit/debit card numbers.
  • Customer Support Communications: Any email address or message you provide when contacting our helpdesk directly.

4. Application Permissions and Usage

To enable core messaging utility features, Chatbox requests the following system permissions:

  • Camera Permission: Used exclusively to scan WhatsApp Web QR codes on your other devices for the Copy WA feature. No camera feed or pictures are uploaded to our servers.
  • Notification Access (Optional): Required solely to detect incoming chat notifications locally for the Deleted Messages Recovery feature. Notification contents are parsed and stored locally in your device's isolated storage.
  • Storage / Media Permissions: Required to save downloaded status photos, videos, and media files directly into your device gallery upon your explicit command.
  • Internet Access: Required to load the standard web mirror interface for WhatsApp Web, verify subscription passes, and receive app updates.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs strictly for operational performance and analytics:

  • Google Play Services: For secure app distribution and in-app billing.
  • Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: For aggregated crash reports and performance monitoring.
  • Meta / Facebook App Events: For campaign attribution and ad conversion metrics.

All third-party SDKs operate under their respective privacy policies and comply with industry data security standards.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because chats, downloaded statuses, and recovered messages are stored entirely on your physical device, you maintain full control over your data. You can delete individual saved statuses, clear the chat log, or uninstall the application at any time to immediately purge all local data.

7. Security Measures

We implement standard encryption, secure HTTPS endpoints for payment validations, and adhere strictly to Google Play Security Guidelines to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Chatbox is an independent utility application developed by Zarvonis Ventures Private Limited. Chatbox is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
